Our staff is highly skilled in insurance benefits and billing requirements and will help you maximize your reimbursement. They electronically submit your medical claims immediately after your visit so you can quickly receive direct reimbursement.
Lab work is sent to anin-network laboratory that is contracted with your insurance plan. More advanced testing such as radiology services are referred to in network providers, when appropriate.
Our hospital affiliation, Mount Sinai, is contracted with most major insurances.
We work hard to accommodate your busy schedulefor both office visits and phone calls. The doctors are personally availableto their patients 24/7 to address any emergency obstetric or gynecological issues.
The degree of personal attention and individualized service that Dr.'s Morrone & Kirsch provide to their patients is truly labor intensive and not easily duplicated by any contracted managed care plan. In-network providers often practice in large groups and see an ever increasing volume of patients in order to maintain their practice.
Our office is out of network for most major insurance plans. However, this does NOT mean that the financial outlay for you is prohibitive. For Obstetrics and Surgery, pleasecall our office so we may review your coverage and develop a financially manageable arrangement.
Dr.'s Morrone and Kirsch accept Mount Sinai's United Health Care plan for employees of the hospital.
Dr.'s Morrone & Kirsch are non-participating providers for Medicare. They accept medicare fees for eligible services but patients must pay at the time of their visit. The office will electronically submit the claim so that medicare and the secondary insurance will reimburse the patient directly.
Appointments can be scheduled by calling our office any weekday during the hours of 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
You can also send an appointment request by utilizing the "contact us" form at the bottom of the "contact" page. Email submissions are responded to within one business day.
We offer flexible and expanded office hours and can extend our schedules to accommodate specific appointment requests.
Same day urgent care and emergency visits are available by calling our office.
Dr.'s Morrone and Kirsch can be reached by phone during normal business hours.
For non-urgent matters, please leave a message with our front desk staff and your call will be returned before the end of the day.
If you require immediate assistance, please advise the staff and your call will be put through immediately to the doctor.
If you are a patient of the practice and have an after hours obstetric or gynecologic emergency, please dial the office # and then press "0" to be connected to the answering service. You will be immediately connected tot the doctor who is one call. For non-urgent after hours issues, please press "1" and leave a voice message on the answering machine.

Your appointment will be confirmed on the business day 24 hours prior to your visit.
Our office hours fill quickly and there is a waiting list for prime appointment times. Before your appointment, preparation is made to insure your time in our office is optimized. Your chart is prepared and the physicians allot time to review your medical record prior to your visit to insure a seamless appointment.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. we request that you do so by 4 pm on the business day before your scheduled appointment.
A $40.00 fee will be charged for repeated missed or untimely cancelled appointments.

Please plan ahead. We ask that you not call the after hours service for prescription refills, or non urgent medications. This service is reserved for emergency calls only.
If you are transferring your care from another practice, please download and complete our medical record authorization. It would be preferable if we could obtain pertinent test results and reports prior to your first visit.
